Tell us a little bit about yourself
Enoch : Hello there. I'm 71 years old and about three years ago I got diagnosed with, asthma with a, a bit of a COPD, I guess also.
Tell us about your diagnosis
Enoch : About three years ago. I, come down with asthma. I guess it would be, I didn't know it was asthma because I, I got sick and I, I've been good for, many, many, many years and, I, I come down with a, a real bad chest cold respiratory, virus and, I come into the doctor and, they'd, they'd mentioned that I, looks like I have asthma.
How has your life changed since your diagnosis?
Enoch : My, life has changed since the diagnosis of, asthma is for, my activities, as far as, I can still walk, I could, still, go to the gym do, cardio exercises, through, this program which is, helped me out, before I was, limited to what I could do. So now with going through this program, I can, I can still continue to walk and, and, and enjoy a little bit, better life. I, I mean, I can't, I can't do everything I did when I was younger and healthier but, it's, it's what it is. So this program has helped me out to get to where I am today.
How has Best Care impacted your life?
Enoch : Best care has impacted my life by make me aware of a lot of the different puffers and how to use them and the medication, which is helped me out. So, you know, I, but to recognize which one is the right one for me, it's been working for me. Also the the, the awareness of yeah, like the action plans that they have shown me and brought me on to, especially if I have a flare up because I, when you have a flare up then, yeah, I recognize that whether I need to see the doctor or not or take a medication, and so on. So, I mean, everything within this, this program is, benefited me for my, for my life.
Do you have a message for others about the Best Care program?
Enoch : The message I would put out there for anybody that is suffering from asthma or COPD or any respiratory illness of breathing is go with a program like this because I mean, ever since I started it, it's, it's really impacted my life. It's, it's helped me out big time and it helps you breathe a lot better. So I would suggest anybody at all. It's got a respiratory ailment to start on a program like this through the doctor or through whoever.
