Tell us a little bit about yourself
Don : My name is Donald. I'm 61. Occupation I was a, a farmer and then a forklift driver. I have a big family under my roof. My interest of our cars, fixing things
Tell us about your diagnosis
Don : Diagnosis was, I was getting sick every year right around Christmas time in December. I was always a humidity and dust that would bug me up. I was diagnosed about 21, 22 years ago but I, I fell through the cracks and I didn't get my medication started on time.
How has your life changed since your diagnosis?
Don : My life has changed quite a bit because there's not enough air and I used to play baseball and I couldn't do that anymore. Then I was trying to work as long as possible, but I just couldn't do it anymore.
How has Best Care impacted your life?
Don : The Best Care for my life has been, they show me a lot of stuff I didn't know before that you don't get when you're waiting at a specialist's office. So then I can learn, I learned a lot from, my diseases and stuff.
Do you have a message for others about the Best Care program?
Don : With the COPD I have, I, I wanted to catch it sooner than later and I waited too long. If you need help, you need to get it really soon because, it can go out of control very fast.
