Tell us a little bit about yourself
Agnes : Hello, my name is Agnes. My age is 48 years old. I went to school. I, I did a community service worker. I live here with my family, which is my son and my boyfriend. My interest are painting, walking, maybe a little bit of tennis. Thank you.
Tell us about your diagnosis
Agnes : Ok, about five years ago I, was worried about my breathing and coughing a lot. So I went to my doctor to find out what's happening. He referred me to my educator right now. To find out the problem, it wasn't easy to diagnose. We try many, test which came up with the results I have asthma and, um, some, uh, problems with my, uh, breathing.
How has your life changed since your diagnosis?
Agnes : We tried a lot of medications, puffers and I had some few, side effects so we had to change it over and over, do some more tests. What will work the best for me. And, my educator finally, gave me a proper offer.
How has Best Care impacted your life?
Agnes : Best Care has supported me throughout my diagnosis and teach me new things. My educator supported, supports me. Any time I have a question or concern I will call and always have a reply back. I can ask question which I don't understand with my new diagnosis, few things. I always have a good answer and feel, feel confident and comfortable that will get better.
Do you have a message for others about the Best Care program?
Agnes : Do I have a message for the patients and doctors out there? Yes, I, from beginning wasn't sure about to follow up with the process from, Best Care and I am glad I did because, it did supported me. They helped me, I do not have a drug prog program and I've been, being helped with my puffers, which I am. I appreciated for everything they do for me. I think a lot of people should get tested if they have problem with, with breathing, whatever it is asthma or, COPD. I think it's a great program and I do recommend it. So please do that.
