Julie McGregor: Hey guys, it's Julie. I'm the director of customer experience here at Arcules and I have the best job here at the company because I get to work with our partners and our customers every single day.
How long have you been attending ISC West?
Julie McGregor: ISC West, I can't wait to get there this year. I think the turnout is gonna be really awesome. I've been going for more than 15 years and each year it's a completely different experience, everything from the vibe that's going on to the amount of attendees, the energy, you know, what's happening in the industry and really the world. So I think this year is gonna be an awesome one and I can't wait to get there and meet you all.
What are you most excited about at ISC West this year?
Julie McGregor: I am most excited this year about Sushisamba I mean, come on that place is amazing. I'm very excited about Sushisamba and other things, but mostly breaking bread with others I haven't met in person. I am a big time people person, a fan of the people that I work with. and most of it happens in Zoom you know, behind the monitor and well, that's great. I'll take it versus leave it. It's just an incredible experience to meet people, shake their hand, give them a hug. You know, and just get to know them in real life. So for me, even though there's a ton of other really cool things that I'm looking forward to. That's if you ask me my number one numero uno, I can't wait to meet you in real life.
What is included in your ISC West survivor kit?
Julie McGregor: Starting with number one band aids. Obviously everyone needs band aids for ISC West. Business cards. You got to have business cards at ISC West. What else? Company credit card? That one goes a long way to ISC and all right, I'll admit it, Ibuprofen and a bottle of water that I always need that too.
How can attendees make the most out of ISC West this year?
Julie McGregor: I'm a big planner and I like to prioritize. So I would say ISC can be overwhelming and if you don't get crystal clear early on about what you really want to make sure you do while you're there from what technology you want to see to people you want to actually meet. life can get away from you in that week.
Why should people attend ISC West?
Julie McGregor: 100% for the experience. I can't think of one other place that you can go all year where you can see a combination of all the players that you've been working with and haven't even worked with yet. Technology that's out you're interested in and also up and coming to educational courses just to learn more. So you can stay relevant and of course it's Vegas. So, you know, it's a totally different skin than you're used to wearing and the food's amazing. So that's why I go.
What do you want get out of ISC West this year?
Julie McGregor: Every year at ISC It seems I do a great job of meeting the people that I already work with and know. And there's a reason for that. It's awesome but I also really want to focus this year on meeting people that I've never met and don't work with today. So, come see us at the Arcules Booth. I would love to meet you!
