Cindy Chang: Hi, my name is Cindy and I'm the head of product for Arcules. My first ISC West experience was actually back in 2019 when I first joined Arcules.
What are you most excited about at ISC West this year?
Cindy Chang: So what am I most excited about at ISC West this year? Shameless plug. I'm actually going to be involved in a round table discussion for SIA on April 9th. We will be talking about "What is Decision Intelligence and What the Heck Does It Have to Do With the Security Industry?" And so hopefully I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
What is included in your ISC West survivor kit?
Cindy Chang: So what's included in my ISC West survivor kit? Lots of caffeine, definitely comfortable shoes, and comfortable clothing, and last but not least space in my schedule so that my introverted self can breathe a little bit.
How can attendees make the most out of ISC West this year?
Cindy Chang: So I think you can maximize your time at ISC West. I'm going to fold in some product principles here. But it's really around prioritization. Prioritization around your time on what has the most impact and what has the most value. And so centering your schedule around that. Making sure you maximize your time that way would be extremely important.
What is one word you would use to describe ISCW?
Cindy Chang: My one word to describe ISC West would be connection.
Why should people attend ISC West?
Cindy Chang: I think attending ISC West is pretty critical especially for those that are new to this industry of getting a really good understanding of what this video surveillance landscape looks like. And how it's evolving and trending over time, especially with the big players to the small players. How are they innovating, how are they integrating together? And what does that look like? And so I think to get a really thorough understanding of this industry, ISC West was a great way to do that.
