Fernando Silva: My name is Fernando Silva. I'm from Chile and I joined the SRE team at Arcules a few months ago.
What is unique about Arcules?
Fernando Silva: When I joined, I made an immediate connection with its values and its people. From day one, people here made me feel like a part of the team and not just a contractor or outsider, so to speak. And leaving all cliches aside at Arcules, you can make impactful change every day. No matter the noise or the grind, it implies, you can always strive for continuous improvement.
What about Arcules' culture really resonates with you?
Fernando Silva: Finding values like vulnerability and transparency isn't easy. So I'm truly thankful to be part of a company that not only embodies these values but consistently promotes them. And you can see that every day.
What has surprised you during your time with Arcules?
Fernando Silva: As someone who's been exclusively working remotely for several years, I didn't expect much other than one more job to help me learn, grow, pay my bills and hopefully have fun while doing it. And it turns out my expectations were not only met but exceeded. I made an immediate connection with its values and its people. Either in person or virtually through meetings or Slack conversations. You might say that I came looking for copper but found gold.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give candidates wanting to be part of Arcules?
Fernando Silva: Just feel free to be yourself, but commit to contributing and adding value every day and in any way you can. I guarantee you, you'll enjoy it.
What has fueled your passion since being at Arcules?
Fernando Silva: I would say my own personal drive, but also the commitment to a team that gives their best at every turn and that deserves the best from me.
