Who are you, what is your occupation, how many years have you been doing it, and why did you get into your career? (60 seconds max)
Ricardo Martinez: Hello, my name is uh Rick Martinez. I'm a PE teacher at Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood. Um, I've been teaching PE now for 30 years at the same school, and I chose this profession. And I stuck with it because I really enjoy what I do. And it's a blessing to be here. Thank you, bye bye.
Before working with us, what did you know (or not know) about your pension, retirement, and insurance benefits? (60 seconds max)
Ricardo Martinez: Yes, um, my prior pension, I didn't know much. I knew, um, they were taking money out of my paycheck, but I didn't know what where it was going and how it was accumulating, and as far as my insurance, um, I never got my kids or the family. Um, any insurance benefits because it was never brought up on our yearly meeting. Thank you.
What changed since meeting with us, and how did we help you feel more confident about your financial future? (60 seconds max)
Ricardo Martinez: Yes, since changing to my current company, uh, it's been amazing. Now I, I have different accounts. And, um, any questions I could always email my or text my, um. My provider and I'll give feedback within that same day. It's been a privilege and I also got my other my sister involved. And um she's very happy with this. And um it's just a blessing to have this company that I'm with right now. Thank you.
