Who are you, what is your occupation, how many years have you been doing it, and why did you get into your career? (60 seconds max)
Eric Gross: Hello, my name is Eric, and I am an assistant principal with the Palm Beach County School District. I've been in this school district for about 25 years, and I got into this career because I really enjoy helping students reach their full potential in life.
Before working with us, what did you know (or not know) about your pension, retirement, and insurance benefits? (60 seconds max)
Eric Gross: Before working with Appreciation Financial, I really didn't know much. I knew that in education, if I worked long enough, I'd get a pension. Um, I really didn't know much else about retirement or insurance benefits at all.
What changed since meeting with us, and how did we help you feel more confident about your financial future? (60 seconds max)
Eric Gross: Since I started working with Appreciation Financial, basically, I've learned about my pension, I've learned about my retirement, and I've learned a lot about this because my financial advisor reached out to me. Uh, she set me up with some programs, and she's followed through and noticed that some of the programs weren't performing as well as they should. And she reached out to me saying that uh we should maybe switch or look into other options. So really, a lot of what I've learned has come through working personally with my financial advisor, which is Susan Creekmore.

Eric Gross: So my agent's name is actually Susan Creemore with Appreciation Financial. And like I said, she has reached out to me when she's seen several programs are doing better than what she has recommended, or some uh programs aren't doing as well as expected. So we have talked many times. In fact, she has given me her personal phone number, and sometimes if I'm just thinking about something, I'll text her thinking that I'll talk to her the next day. But she actually texted me back that same night, even when it's well beyond normal operating hours. Uh, she's helped me through different stages of my life, through divorces, and she's really been there and helped me through all sorts of things that life has challenged me with. So I really appreciate all the personal attention that I'm getting from Appreciation Financial and especially Susan Creekmore.
