Speaker: Abigail Prewitt-Campbell, Special Education Teacher , Amarillo ISD
Abigail Prewitt-Campbell: Prior to meeting with you guys, I didn't know what my financial future looks like.
Who are you, what is your occupation, how many years have you been doing it, and why did you get into your career?
Abigail Prewitt-Campbell: Hi, my name is Abigail Pruitt Campbell. I'm currently a special education teacher and have been for 7 years. I got into teaching so that I could help support children and help them learn to the best of their ability.
Before working with us, what did you know (or not know) about your pension, retirement, and insurance benefits?
Abigail Prewitt-Campbell: Before I started working with you guys, all I knew is that I needed a retirement and I needed to put money away so that I could succeed after I finished teaching. I didn't really know very much when it comes to my benefits, when it comes to my pension, just the fact that I knew I needed something in order for me to succeed afterwards.
What changed since meeting with us, and how did we help you feel more confident about your financial future?
Abigail Prewitt-Campbell: Prior to meeting with you guys, I didn't know what my financial future looks like. I didn't know what a good retirement return would look like. I didn't know if I would be able to retire at the age that I wanted to retire at. I didn't even know what a good return looked like prior to setting up everything that I needed to set up in order for me to have a good financial future.
If recommending your agent / advisor to - please explain why so that we can help others take control of their future!
Abigail Prewitt-Campbell: I think it's very important for others to get an advisor when it comes to their financial future. They're able to explain things in ways that I was able to comprehend and understand why they're doing what they're doing. They're able to help you, help support you in your investments and overall in what your future entails and without my advisor, I would have no idea where to start and what my future looked like financially.
