Talk to people who have been there, done that. You know, really, if you know, if you're thinking of setting up on your own to talk to other people who have recently gone out on their own. Ask them: "What do you know now that would have helped you succeed faster or have made some different choices?" People generally are very happy to share if you ask them. So, that's probably one of the things that are very important. And also, there are a lot of free resources. So, you don't actually have to have an individual discussion with someone, you can listen to interviews. And thankfully, there's quite a lot of free resources, podcasts such as this, such as my podcast with Adele and other podcasts where there are many discussions with recruitment agency owners and other high billing recruiters, where you can hear from their experience. And if you can access those resources for free, why the hell wouldn't you access them and just consume as many as you can and learn as much as you can?
