You think you're gonna make a placement, the candidate's making all the right noises, you put the offer and then the candidate turns the offer down. Ok. So, it's easy to kind of go. Well, the candidate should have told me that they had these other offers or whatever it might be. But ultimately, the only thing you can do is learn from that experience. To go I can't expect the candidate to tell me everything. what questions could or should I have asked to explore what else that candidate might have been considering? So, there's that element of being critical about where things aren't going well right in front of you and then also investing in your development to keep progressing your skills for the next challenge.
