How has Review Wave enhanced the efficiency of your practice, specifically in terms of streamlining patient communication?

Andrew Oteo: Hey guys, this is Doctor Andrew Oteo with Stonebridge Health. I wanted to talk a little bit about our experience using review wave, especially with uh patient communication. One of the things that we started to implement that I was dragging my feet on was after our scheduling of allowing patients to automatically schedule on a Friday Saturday, Sunday days that were closed in the practice. And just by allowing that one feature that has increased our practice tens of thousands of dollars. So that one feature alone has a tenfold pay for itself in terms of how we use Review wave.

How has Review Wave revolutionized your team's workflows at your practice?

Andrew Oteo: Right off the bat. One of the features that I love about review wave is their message automation. Um What we do is every time somebody has a birthday, we send out a happy birthday, email and text message and that actually has a, a video embedded into it of our practice. Uh Everybody in my office standing behind the front desk, we pop up, we throw confetti, we say happy birthday and it's just a lot of fun. And so people engage really well with that. So that's one of the things we do is just a little bit of like a cultural build. We use Review Wave to help kind of uh be an external branch of the culture by communicating more properly with patients and sending them message, reminders. Of course, like of their appointments, how are we doing? Getting reviews? Uh That's been huge for us. The feedback too has been great. So if we send out a reminder and if it's less than four stars, it gives us internal feedback of what we can do to get better. And that's uh uh been a critical thing for us to improve systems and to be more objective about ways that we can slowly dial in our operating procedures. So that alone has really revolutionized how we operate in our practice.

What would you advise your peers who are still manually managing patient attraction, booking, and communication?

Andrew Oteo: Over the years, I've been really outspoken with sharing my experience about review way with other colleagues. And the reason why is I know the pain points that they're going through? I understand what it's like running a busy practice and trying to automate processes and procedures, but still trying to create that communication with patients and, and maintain those relationships. So uh it's hard to give up some of those things and to think, oh man, this software is really gonna be able to help me with recalls or help me with uh uh review or whatever that might be, but it truly does. And so what I tell everybody is you should have a organic and a paid strategy, right? Organic is you talking to patients saying, hey, Mrs Jones, here's a card. Please share it with somebody that, you know, a a paid version of that would be what review wave offers is having a software that automates that process for you. So if you forget or if you just drop that procedure, which commonly happens in many offices, mine included where we just drop something for a while, you have something that a set it and forget it, consistent effort that will allow you to grow in a, in a meaningful way. Uh and something that really, you can depend upon month after month, week after week. And it's something that really has contributed towards growth within my practice. I've had a lot of other colleagues that have used review wave and uh you know, I joke around that they should change their name to customer service wave. It's not as appealing, but the the they are incredible. Every time you have an issue, every time there's something that's going on you're trying to change or tweak something. Um I'm not the best at digging into those Softwares, but you hop on a call with them, they will get it done. 123. So that's something I truly love about them is their customer service. And in turn, their product allows my practice to have more efficient customer service. So there's been many patients that have made comments about. Oh man, those reminders are great or oh gosh, what do you use? I've had other dentists and different professionals asking me what kind of software we're using because they like it so much and maybe something like that isn't a currently in their profession. So thank you. Review a for truly transforming my, my practice. Thank you for being such an incredible tool that my team uses on a daily basis and just thank you for helping me grow and becoming uh a more suc successful version of myself that's been able to help so many other people.
