Your Name, what brought you to Regis?
Emmelly Alvarez: Hi, my name is Emmelly Alvarez, and the reason why I chose Regis was simply because of their classroom sizes. I knew that looking into colleges, I did want a smaller setting, so Regis was the perfect school for me, since their classes typically range between 25 to 30 students.
Chose a word to describe yourself. (e.g., innovator, leader, immigrant, etc.) Why did you choose this word?
Emmelly Alvarez: A word that I would use to describe myself would be believer. I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ, and that word itself encompasses so much of who I am, since my identity comes through Jesus Christ.
How does that word fit with your experience at Anderson College of Business and Computing?
Emmelly Alvarez: This word describes my experience at Anderson College of Business and Computing, because they have been nothing but welcoming and very open minded, not just about my beliefs, but everybody else's beliefs, which has then allowed me to become much more vocal about what I believe in.
