Speaker: Matt Daly, Accounting Professor/Associate Dean; Organized

Your Name, what brought you to Regis

Matt Daly: Hi there. My name is Matt Daly. I am a professor of accounting. I'm the Associate Dean here in the Anderson College of Business and Computing. Question is what brought me to Regis? Uh, I've been around Regis my entire life. My dad taught here for 36 years. He has a degree from here. My siblings, most of them, have a degree from Regis. My kids now all have a degree from Regis. So, I've been tied into this place for a long, long time.

Chose a word to describe yourself. (e.g., innovator, leader, immigrant, etc.) Why did you choose this word?

Matt Daly: A word that best describes me is organized. As a CPA for several decades, I need to be organized in the work I do there. But, just as my, my role as an Associate Dean, I, much of what I do is operational stuff and it needs to be organized. So that, that's, that's probably the one that best describes me.

How does that word fit with your experience at Anderson College of Business and Computing?

Matt Daly: Everything I do at Regis tends to require organization, whether it's teaching my accounting classes, preparing for the next large meeting, preparing budgets, whatever the case may be, both within our college and, and helping out where I can with other colleges, um, organization helps a great deal with that.
