Your Name, what brought you to Regis
Kellen Sorauf: I came to Regis 11 years ago as an affiliate faculty in the chemistry department, where I used to model chemical systems. Now, I'm an Associate Professor of Data Science in Anderson College of Business and Computing, modeling business systems.
Chose a word to describe yourself. (e.g., innovator, leader, immigrant, etc.) Why did you choose this word?
Kellen Sorauf: I would say the word that best describes me is curious, because I love to learn new things.
How does that word fit with your experience at Anderson College of Business and Computing?
Kellen Sorauf: Being curious fits into my experience as being a faculty member in Anderson College of Business and Computing, because I constantly get to learn. I'm always learning new things, uh, new models, new techniques, new ways of applying it. I'm always challenging my previous beliefs, and not only that, but I get to, uh, share that knowledge and my experiences with my students, and then together, uh, we get to go out and do research and make positive impacts in the world. Uh, so that's why it's the best job uh, working, um, in Anderson College of Business and Computing.
