Speaker: Ema Higgins, Student; Dreamer

Your Name, what brought you to Regis

Ema Higgins: What brought me to Regis was the, uh, business scholarship weekend, and I was awarded the full tuition scholarship. And, so after that, I traveled to Colorado and visited Regis University with my family and fell in love with the place. Everything just kind of connected like a perfect puzzle. And now I'm here.

Chose a word to describe yourself. (e.g., innovator, leader, immigrant, etc.) Why did you choose this word?

Ema Higgins: One word to describe myself would be a dreamer. I definitely have a lot of dreams and I kind of turn these dreams into goals, and really try to set my mind to these things to attain them. And I've been pretty successful challenging myself over the last few years. All thanks to the business school.

How does that word fit with your experience at Anderson College of Business and Computing?

Ema Higgins: Regarding being a dreamer at my time at Regis, with the Anderson Business School, I am currently a junior, but last summer I landed an amazing internship that I don't think I would have gotten, um, without the help of my professors on resume tips, and even the, uh, learning center as well for resume tips. And, I also did my capstone early which would not have been possible without the immense support from Doctor Harrold.
