Speaker: Lauren Earley

Lauren Earley: Good morning and welcome to Earley morning chats. I'm your host, Lauren Earley and I oversee government and public affairs, better known as advocacy at ASID headquarters. ASID's advocacy advances the interior design profession in a couple of important ways. First, by educating folks about interior design and its positive impacts on people, places and the planet. And second, by shaping the laws, policies, business standards, professional guidelines, and other unspoken rules concerning the bill environment. This shaping of our business and legal landscape is done by engaging with government officials of all types and at all levels of government and informing these decision makers about what interior design is and what interior designers do. Earley morning chats is a brand new series by ASID intended to shine light on interior design advocacy and the process of protecting and advancing the interior design profession, the design and construction industry and our larger world tune in next week for the first official installment of Early morning chats for more advocacy in the AM. See you then.
