Teri K. Geist, O.D.: I think when we are all together as a team, all doctors of optometry can accomplish great things. And I think that shows on so many legislative efforts. So I'm optimistic that we're going to do great things on third party issues, on scope issues, and regulatory issues. So watch out 2024.
Teri K. Geist, O.D.: Volunteering looks different to very many people. And so, I think volunteering sometimes is intimidating. And so just having a one-on-one conversation about volunteering is the first step to some people and making relationships, relationships, whether it's with the legislator or with actually a colleague, is the first step. So I think it, it can look different and being a member sometimes is the best thing and but just getting involved as is the first step and, you know, we care much, if you, if you care enough to be in a profession, then you should care enough to be involved as a volunteer.
