Wong, O.D., FAAO: As a long time volunteer with the American Optometric Association and a proud SUNY Optometry alumnus, I am excited to share an exciting initiative from the AOA that is kicking off near SUNY's campus in New York City. The Eye Deserve More campaign to get the public to think about their eyes differently and look at the profession of optometry in a whole new light will launch on Aug. 23-25 with an immersive pop up experience in SoHo at 39 Wooster Street. Here, you'll see how our eyes exceed the latest technology with an innovative look at vision and eye health. It's open to all New York area doctors, their patients, students, family and friends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Let's make this launch a success and show patients how we can have better vision, better health outcomes and a lot of fun with the help of an AOA doctor of optometry.
