Marc Taub, O.D., Ed.D: My goal for the profession would be to see it continue to embrace all aspects of optometry and to support efforts in the state legislatures to expand our scope of practice. But then also continue to treat the patients holistically through all of the tools that we have at our disposal.
Marc Taub, O.D., Ed.D: There are many ways that you could support the AOA, including financially. But then, of course, there's the opportunity to volunteer. I've been lucky to be a volunteer for now, three or four years. And I have met the most amazing people, gotten to hear, their life stories, how they practice and what's important to them. So not only does volunteering, fulfill me, it fulfills and supports the goals and mission of the organization.
