Jodi Baker, O.D.: The moment I always take home from AOA+ events is Leadership Link. That's the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of AOA+ and that's really to me like the essential heart of what AOA+ is—is getting that connection, getting one-on-one time, and making lasting connections. 10 years later, this is my 10th Optometry's Meeting. It's like I said, it doesn't get any easier to make the commitment, but I've never regretted coming to Optometry's Meeting. So especially if you're granted a travel grant, which they tend to do for AOA+ I would highly encourage anyone to take advantage of that while you're a student, and come to Optometry's Meeting. I think once you see what it's all about, you might be hooked and be here 10 years later saying it's your 10th meeting.
