Speaker: Eliah Weber, Director, Clinical Pharmacology, AstraZeneca

Eliah Weber: Hello, my name is Elijah Weber and I'm a Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Astrazeneca. I first wanted to thank the organizing committee of ACCP for selection into the 2024 Leadership Development Program. Upon completion of the program over the past six months, it has given me new skills and methods as I approach leadership. In addition, I've gained a new perspective on what it means to be a leader, your capabilities as a leader and how to effectively impact and influence others when building these relationships by utilizing these skills. I found I've learned a lot more about myself as a leader where I want to go as a leader and how to get there by making these changes. I've found that I've made drastic improvements in my ability to impact and influence the clinical pharmacology community as well. In addition to the methods and skills learned within the program, I found it highly valuable to interact with other colleagues who are within the program by watching others transform and understand and learn about what they prioritize as leaders. It has helped me grow as a leader as well as to understand what are the key needs with others within your group. Upon completion of this program, I want to give back to the ACCP community by demonstrating these leadership skills and subcommittees. In addition, I want to be a champion of the program and give any information to any prospective member who might be interested in joining. I want to thank you again for your time and for the opportunity to participate in this program. And I hope our paths cross within ACCP. Thank you.
