Mentorship is key in any organization. Leaders can't just be leaders, they have to bring the next generation forward so that that generation can become leaders. I think mentorship is critical for everyone. At whatever stage. Mentorship is everything. I had mentors growing up in orthopaedics who shaped who I am as a clinician. Mentors are highly important in my life and in my career. I've had mentors, I've had sponsors who've given the opportunities to become a more effective leader.
