Jennifer Weiss, MD, FAAOS: My name is Jennifer Weiss. I'm a Pediatric Orthopaedic surgeon in Los Angeles with Kaiser Permanente and I am the Chair of the Communications Committee for the AAOS.
Jennifer Weiss, MD, FAAOS: I'm in support of the proposed bylaws change to expand the definition of professionalism in our orthopaedic Academy. Sadly, in 2023 it does not always go without saying that professionalism does not include behaviors like harassment and bullying. And I truly hope that our membership will support this proposed bylaws change to make this a better place for all of us in our culture, in orthopaedic surgery.
