Brian Jackson: I'd like to tell you about Kelsey Lorne two years ago, after more than 30 years of teaching, I felt like my career was starting to wind down. I had less energy. I kind of felt like it was a little less useful than I had been in the past. Then I had an opportunity to work with Kelsey as a brand new teammate. We shared a class. She took my humanities, I took her math and science students. And what she showed me was enthusiasm and energy and amazing ideas about what kids needed. She had insights into great activities, but most importantly, she had a love for the kids in her class and, and my class and she really wanted to see them be the great people that we know that they can be. As a result. I felt inspired, my energy was renewed. I felt supported by a valuable teammate and she was a very important sounding board for me as a result. Now, my energy is back. My enthusiasm is back. I'm not looking forward to retirement because I'm having such a great time being Kelsey Lauren's partner. She really does deserve this. She is an inspiring teacher.
