Liz Ware: Hi I'm Liz Ware, Program Manager at the American Lighting Association.
What is special about the conference this year?
Liz Ware: We spent years not being able to see our members in person, and finally last year we were able to get back together for a conference and it makes all the difference. I'm really looking forward to doing it again this year.
How has the conference helped you build relationships with people in the industry?
Liz Ware: There's really no alternative for spending 18 hours a day with ALA members and being able to talk to them about the business and about not the business, about their families and really getting to know them on a personal level. And that's the difference of conference.
Tell us a story from a previous conference.
Liz Ware: I had one of the best conversations of my life at conference, and it was a member. I would not have called or done business with otherwise, but meeting her there at conference, we had this amazing, wide ranging conversation that I still remember years later.
