Vinay Narayana: Hi everyone my name is Vinay Narayana, I run AI and ML Engineering at Levi Strauss and Company.
What will your session at AI Festival cover?
Vinay Narayana: My session at the AI festival is titled 'Unleashing the power of generative AI from creative to practical applications.' During the course of my session, I'll give you a brief introduction of generative AI and I'll talk through what a generative adversarial network is, or again as they call it and its architectural details. Once you have the basic foundation of what generative ai is all about, then we will talk through some of the business applications of generative AI, especially in the fields of healthcare, video generation, text generation, and digital art. As with any evolving technology like generative AI, there are challenges, especially as it relates to deepfakes, incorrect information bias etc. We'll walk through what some of these challenges are as well as how we're going to fix it. And lastly, the presentation is filled with visuals and a lot of great content, which I believe you can take back to your own organizations and try to figure out how you can leverage generative AI within your own companies.
What will people learn and take home from your session at AI Festival? How will it help them in their orgs and projects?
Vinay Narayana: Anyone attending this session will soon realize how broad the impact of generative AI could be across industries. There are use cases that you could potentially solve across logistics, transportation, travel, healthcare, art, retail, etc., using generative AI. Getting the foundational understanding is very important. And then application of that knowledge will certainly go a long way for anyone who wants to use it within their own companies.
