Can you share a specific way hemp has impacted your life, business, or community?
Nakyah: Hemp has impacted my life by providing Calming effects. Relaxing me, I struggle with eating due to a stomach issue, so it helps me, get an appetite.
These products come off the shelf December 11 unless Congress acts. What changes for you that day?
Nakyah: I will no longer have access to legal hemp products. I would have to go back to illegal measures.
What do you want your lawmakers to get right on hemp?
Nakyah: I want lawmakers to get access right as far as him. They need to realize that these are products that people want and they'll go as far as they need to to get it so you guys might as well just regulate it, and have it. Available for us legally. And I feel like that reduces crime and everything.
