Melissa: Affect absolutely works. I wouldn't be where I am today, if it had not been for this app,
Melissa: My name is Melissa and I've been in recovery for just about 300 days now, and my life has completely changed. I've rebuilt relationships with my family and children, friends that I just didn't talk to anymore because of my drinking. And I want to say that if it had not been for the Affect app, I would not have made it this far. The counselors, the check-ins, the challenges, the missions are all there to help build you back up to your normal self, and it works. The Affect app absolutely works. I wouldn't be where I am today, if it had not been for this app, and for the counselors and the nurses and everybody at Affect who cared enough about my sobriety, who didn't judge me, who didn't take advantage of me, people who genuinely wanted to see me succeed and be sober, and it works. It works.
Melissa: The thing that was the most surprising to me at Affect is how wonderful the counselors are and how much they actually pay attention to each individual and deal with them on an individual basis, as well as, as a group.
Melissa: The most valuable thing that I learned at Affect was, I am worth being sober. That I can do the things that it takes for me to stay sober, and that I always have people that are willing to talk to me, friends, or my community group.
