Speaker: Adam Espinosa, Dallas, Texas

Tell us about yourself and why you chose to come to this AYP mission trip.

Adam Espinosa: Hey, my name is Adam. I'm 31 years old. Um, I'm from Dallas, Texas and I own my own business. Uh, and the reason I decided to come on this mission trip is because I've never been on a mission trip before. Um, and I've always loved to help out with community, you know, go to outreach in my church and, uh, those kind, those kinds of things. And, uh, and it was just a plus that it was gonna be out here in Miami, Florida, which I've never been to. And it's, it's been a pretty amazing experience so far.

What was the most impactful moment of your mission trip and why?

Adam Espinosa: The most impactful um part of this mission trip for me is just seeing everybody, so many like minded people working together. Uh It's been awesome just being a part of this group and uh and being myself, being able to contribute uh to this cause and just being surrounded uh by the people that we are impacting, seeing their gratefulness for what we're doing is a blessing.

How did this mission trip strengthen your faith?

Adam Espinosa: Right. This mission trip has strengthened my faith by just seeing God work uh from the very beginning uh first by helping me not miss my flight, even though I was running super late and just seeing God work throughout this mission trip. And um and just the daily devotions that we're having in the morning and in the evening, uh as a group, you know, it's quite a few of us, it's about 14 of us. Uh So it's just been a blessing to be able to study the word going out being the ha the feet of the hands and feet of Jesus and just seeing God work through this mission trip.

How do you plan to apply what you've learned from this mission trip in your daily life?

Adam Espinosa: So one way that I feel like I can apply what I've learned in this mission trip is not looking at helping out the community uh as such a daunting task, it can be done. Uh And it can be a huge blessing for the community, uh whoever is receiving that blessing and um and just using my body uh to be uh a tool for God.

What's your message to someone considering whether they should come to the next AYP mission trip?

Adam Espinosa: If you're considering joining the next AYP mission trip, I totally recommend it. You should totally come. If, uh, what you're looking for is meeting other like minded individuals as yourself, people who are in love with Jesus, want to serve others. Uh, if you're looking to have a great time in a location, you probably haven't been before. Uh, you should definitely come. It's, for me personally, it's been a huge blessing. I've met other people, uh, my brothers, sisters, sisters in Christ and, uh, I would do it over and over again if I had to do it.
