What's your name and what does a typical day at work look like?
Hi, my name is Colette Kerri. I am an occupational therapist at rehab Rockville. Um, and I have been with a dentist for almost five years now.
Why did you choose this career and what's the best part of your job?
I chose to become an occupational therapist because of the impact that we can make on people and their functions of everyday life. Uh And the best part of my day is seeing the patients who came in, you know, maybe needing help, maybe needing a lot of assistance and seeing them leave with so much more independence.
What's the best part of working for Adventist HealthCare?
The best part about working for Adventist has been the support they have given me uh through many different endeavors. I went back to school to get my doctorate in occupational therapy. Um And now I am helping with the facility dog program and I'm going to be the facility dog handler at Rockville. And I have been so supported by everyone here.
