What do you love the most about working for Adventist HealthCare?
White Oak Medical Center : Hi, my name is David. I'm one of the CT technologists here at White Oak Medical Center. And what I love most about working at Adventist HealthCare is it's a faith based organization and that really resonates with me. And in addition, I've enjoyed cultivating many relationships over the years here that translate into great teamwork and excellent patient care.
Can you tell us what it is like to work for the CT (Radiology) Department?
White Oak Medical Center : Hi, my name is Aisha. I've been working in the CT department over 20 years. I love working in this department. This is one of the best department and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's interested working in CT due to this friendly environment, always make me feel like home away from home. The great team of people I work with, the diversity of CT exam I get to perform including cardiac and IR helped me learn and grow. Working in here truly makes us feel like we are a hero.
What is a day in the life like on this team?
White Oak Medical Center : Hi, I'm Venus. I'm one of the CT techs that works at White Medical Center. A typical day in CT starts with calling in-house and ED patients and helping each other for the smooth running of the department. We have two CT rooms and cardiac and, uh, biopsies are done in the day shift. CT is very fast paced but we help each other and give the excellent care to the patient.
What is one thing you would like to share to someone who is joining this team?
White Oak Medical Center : Hi, my name is Jonathan Imbraguglio and I'm the imaging director here at White Oak Medical Center. You've just met some of our amazing CT technologists.
