What is it like to go through the Payroll Academy program?
Holly: My payroll academy was eight weeks long based in the Stains office. And there were 12 of us who joined with a wide range of ages and experiences and we all got on really well, which made it a really fun eight weeks, seems like a long time, but there is quite a lot to fit in alongside having a bit of fun. You've got to learn all about calculating payrolls, all about the legislation, software. You also get to learn quite a bit about what the other departments do in ADP by having a bit of time meeting some of the heads of those departments. I found that really interesting actually to see how the different parts all sort of fit together for the greater good. We were quite lucky that we finished literally just before Christmas. So we had a nice Christmas break, we came back in the January and settled into our teams.
