Speaker: Savannah Brion, Pre-PA Student
Savannah Brion: Hi, my name is Savannah, and I chose Advanced clinical due to its flexibility since I am a college student. I now have the ability to get my medical assistant certification to help better prepare me for PA school.
Savannah Brion: What stood out to me the most with advanced clinical was the flexibility to work at your own pace to finish the program while also gaining experiences with realistic simulations.
Savannah Brion: The interactive activities were extremely helpful because we got to put our knowledge to the test. The simulations really put into perspective what a real world patient interaction could be like and how I can work through those.
Savannah Brion: I felt extremely supported while I was taking my course through advanced clinical, because the professors were always very quick and thorough when answering my questions on email, and they also always provided very constructive feedback when responding to any assignments that I turned in.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering enrolling in an ACT program?
Savannah Brion: To someone that is considering the ACT program, I would highly recommend, as I started the program 3 months ago, and I am now ready to get my medical assistant certification and get a head start in the medical world before I go to school to become a physician assistant.
