Speaker: Marley Danielsson
Marley Danielsson: Hi, my name is Marley Danielson, and I was really drawn to this program because it was fully self-paced, so it gave me a lot of great opportunities to work on it while I was in school, I was able to just do it whenever I had extra time.
Describe your overall experience completing the ACT program. What stood out to you the most?
Marley Danielsson: My experience with the ACT was really great. I enjoyed how easy it was to connect with the teachers if you needed extra help, and I also really enjoyed how it wasn't just reading, there was a lot of interactive material as well.
How did the interactive activities impact your learning?
Marley Danielsson: The interactive activities like the quizzes were really helpful because it really helps make sure that the information and that you're really retaining it, and the clinical challenges were also very helpful because you're able to put yourself in that situation as a medical assistant and practice how you would act when you actually get a job as one.
In what ways did ACT make you feel supported, even though the program was online?
Marley Danielsson: Although this program is fully online, I did feel very supported. The teachers are always available if you have any questions, and they provide a lot of great feedback to your assignments.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering enrolling in an ACT program?
Marley Danielsson: The best advice I would give someone enrolling in the ACT program would be just to take your time, since it is self-paced, it's nice that you don't ever feel rushed throughout the process, and you can really just take your time and make sure that you're learning all the information.
