Speaker: Luke Evers

Luke Evers: Hi, my name is Luke Evers. I've always wanted to work as a doctor in my whole life, and this course has just been a great introduction to healthcare, and it's a great way to just get started in the healthcare field by getting your CMA and being able to get that experience first, and then, um, taking what you learn there and taking that wherever you want, whether that be a doctor or nurse or anything like that. I think it's a great.

Luke Evers: I loved my experience with advanced e-clinical training. I think the amount and the multitude of ways they test you is the most valuable part about the course, whether it was a patient scenario or a discussion board activity or a clinical simulation, or just a knowledge check, there are so many ways that they tested your understanding and wanted to make sure that um you knew the material.

In what ways did ACT make you feel supported, even though the program was online?

Luke Evers: Although the program was online, there are lots of ways that you were connected to the instructional team, whether that be office hours or just listening to recording of a slideshow. There are a lot of ways that you knew there were people there ready to help you if you needed that um outlet, and it was very helpful an super awesome for my learning experience.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering enrolling in an ACT program?

Luke Evers: If somebody's on the fence about enrolling in an ACT program, I would highly encourage them to do it. I felt like I learned so much through this course through the clinic simulations and the quizzes and the challenges and discussions that I had with classmates and the ability to reach out, reach out to instructors through office hours. It was so helpful. Even though it was online, it was, it was so helpful and. I think it's one of the only ways that you can truly get involved in healthcare is getting a certificate, and ACT can certainly allows that and allows you to excel on your way to that certificate.
