Cynthia Denise Garcia : Hi, my name is Cynthia Garcia. I was looking for a program that would allow me to do my MA certification online while being a full-time student at a university and therefore, when I found out about about advanced e-clinical training, I thought it would be very compatible with my schedule and would allow me to accomplish my goals while working at my own pace.
Describe your overall experience completing the ACT program. What stood out to you the most?
Cynthia Denise Garcia : I really enjoyed the advanced clinical training experience because you can complete the modules as quickly or as slow as you want and it provides a lot of information that you can make flashcards to study off or it also includes simulations which I actually really enjoyed because I could talk to a virtual or stimulated patients and see how to improve my communication with them.
How did the interactive activities (like quizzes, infographics, and clinical challenges) impact your learning?
Cynthia Denise Garcia : There was a lot of quizzes that allowed me to test my understanding throughout the modules, which was very helpful and then the infographics allowed me to see the organ the information organized and kind of memorize it better and the clinical challenges and discussions also allowed me to see the perspectives of other people taking the course.
In what ways did ACT make you feel supported, even though the program was online?
Cynthia Denise Garcia : ACT made me feel supported because I was able to gain feedback from other people taking the course through discussions and they're also very quick with grading and feedback, which allows you to feel more supported.
