Speaker: Ayse Yesilova, Pre-PA Student
Ayse Yesilova: Hi, my name is Aisha Ishilova. I am a pre-PA student, which means I need to gain lots of patient care experience to apply to PA school. Advanced e-clinical training has given me the opportunity to accomplish that by getting certified to work as an MA during my gap years and be able to get certified on my own timing with the best resources.
What stood out to you the most about the program?
Ayse Yesilova: What stood out to me the most was the flexibility when it came to studying at my own pace. There were also a wide range of prompts to help me absorb all of the material from readings and videos to simulations.
Ayse Yesilova: I consider myself to be a slow learner. Simply reading the material does not always make me feel like I'm actively learning, so the interactive activities made a huge difference. I was able to test my knowledge and know where I was weak in.
In what ways did ACT make you feel supported?
Ayse Yesilova: Despite being an online program, advanced e-clinical training still felt engaging through its discussion assignments, encouraging feedback and office hours opportunities. I never felt like I was alone.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering enrolling in an ACT program?
Ayse Yesilova: If you're considering enrolling in advanced e-clinical training, do it! There are lots of resources offered from the moment you start all the way to the moment where you are applying for jobs. They are there to guarantee your success and support you at every step of the way.
