Speaker: Amy Arias
Amy Arias: Hi, my name is Amy Aria. I just recently finished my bachelor's degree and I've always had an interest in healthcare and becoming a physician assistant, so I wanted to get certified as a medical assistant to start gaining patient care experience for PA school. So I chose Advanced e-clinical training because I needed something flexible that I could complete while I was still in school. So it helped me build clinical knowledge and skills while balancing my coursework.
Describe your overall experience completing the ACT program. What stood out to you the most?
Amy Arias: My overall experience with the ACT program was really positive. It was well organized and easy to follow, and I liked that I could complete it while balancing school. So what stood out to me the most was how it helped me build a strong foundation in medical assisting and made the material very easy to understand, like through videos, assignments, and practice scenarios. So it made me feel more prepared and confident as I move forward in my healthcare journey.
How did the interactive activities (like quizzes, infographics, and clinical challenges) impact your learning?
Amy Arias: The interactive activities really helped me understand the material better. The quizzes and practice scenarios made it easier to remember information instead of just reading it, so it helped me apply what I was learning and made the content feel more clear and practical for real healthcare situations.
In what ways did ACT make you feel supported, even though the program was online?
Amy Arias: Even though the program was online, I still felt supported throughout it. Whenever I had questions, I got helpful responses, and the feedback on assignments was clear and encouraging. It didn't feel like I was doing it completely on my own and made the experience way much easier.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering enrolling in an ACT program?
Amy Arias: If you're thinking about enrolling in ACT, I will definitely recommend it. Just be ready to stay engaged and keep up with the material since it's self-paced. Take advantage of the quizzes and activities because they really help you understand the content better and like overall, it's a great program if you're looking to build a foundation in healthcare and gain clinical knowledge.
