Speakers: Lilly Chudyk
Lilly Chudyk: Hi, my name's Lily Cheddick, and I was inspired to pursue training with advancing clinical training because I wanted to get my medical assistant certification so I can work in a medical, um, setting. But I didn't really know where to go and a lot of people recommended this one. So I decided to try it out and I learned a lot. And now I'm able to practice in a clinical setting and get my hours for PA school. So I'm really happy with the way it turned out and I'm very, very satisfied with my experience.
Describe your overall experience completing the ACT program. What stood out to you the most?
Lilly Chudyk: My overall experience completing the advanced clinical training program was great because I think that the ability to work with all of my different learning styles was very helpful and I'm not just one type of learner, I'm not just visual. I'm also writing and reading and doing all of that really helped me excel, I think, in the course and actually retain the knowledge. So I think it was great.
In what ways did ACT make you feel supported, even though the program was online?
Lilly Chudyk: Even though the advanced declinical training program was online, uh, and a lot of it was on me to learn it all and making sure that I go at my own pace. Advanced declinical training professors were very descriptive with the way that they wanted the assignments done and They were very helpful when if I had to redo assignment once in a while, that was very, very nice. And if I ever needed help, I always reached out to a professor and they got very, very quick with the response. So that was also very nice.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering enrolling in an ACT program?
Lilly Chudyk: If you are thinking about enrolling in the advanced clinical training program for the medical assistant course like I did, you absolutely should, because there are so many ways that you can learn and reach out to people if you need help, and it'll get you jumpstarted on your career and start getting the hours that you need for advanced clinical practices and your future. So I would absolutely recommend it.
