Please introduce yourself.
Kevin Martin: Hi, I'm Kevin Martin. I'm the new Chief Financial Officer here at ACME Constructors. I'm originally from New York City. Up till now, I've spent my professional career in Cleveland Ohio.
What did you do prior to coming to ACME?
Kevin Martin: I've spent the better part of the last 20 years as the CFO of industrial distribution type companies. Most of which, a little over 15 years, was with a hydraulics distributor that was also a 100% ESOP owned company.
What excites you about working with ACME?
Kevin Martin: I'm excited about joining ACME primarily because they're an ESOP company. I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience about managing an ESOP company. I'm also looking forward to meeting everyone. The people I've met so far have been very impressive and very committed to the culture. And I believe that ownership model is something that fosters a great deal of success, and I'm looking forward to becoming a part of that success.
Tell us about yourself. What do you like to do, what are your hobbies?
Kevin Martin: I'm married. I've got two children, the younger of which actually is a junior nursing major at SLU (St Louis University). So in addition to spending time with them, my wife and I really enjoy traveling, especially internationally. Of course that's kind of taken a step back over the last two years. But also in my spare time I'm a big sports fan, primarily baseball and hockey. However, I'm a New York Rangers fan, just not a big fan of the Blues. So, but I am excited about living in an NHL City again to be able to go to games. And also I'm a big Cleveland fan, Indians or Guardians, whatever you want to call them. So I figured the mutual dislike of the Cubs is something I can bond over with Cardinals fans.
