Speakers: Heidi McDonald. Brittney Morris. Lauren Deal. Tim Kalil
Heidi McDonald: Hi, I'm Heidi McDonald. I wanted to let you know that every other Friday, folks from ACI have an opportunity to meet up virtually, to get to know others in the organization. We get on into breakout rooms, network, connect and just have fun. You should try it.
Brittney Morris: So my name is Brittney Morris and I really love the Friday mingles because it is a little chance for myself to step away for just 15 minutes and get a chance to chat with other people on the team. I really enjoy chatting with people. It makes it difficult working remotely, not having that interaction. So that little mingle is just a chance for me to be able to talk and get to know who I'm working with every day. So I just really think there's a lot of value that comes from the Friday Mingles.
Tim Kalil: Hi, everyone! Wanted to share my thoughts on the connect 15 meetings that the POPS team has been putting on. It's been fun as a starting point, getting to know team members from other departments that I wouldn't normally interact with, getting to meet new hires, spending time talking about non-work related things, getting to know each other as human beings. it's been a joy and, and it's been good to sort of get a little break from the day to day that that exists within our, you know, largely virtual, jobs that the majority of us work in. So I would highly recommend, popping into the next one.
Lauren Deal: Hey, everybody. It's Lauren Deal here. And I'm so excited to talk to you about why I love going to the Watercooler. Yes, that's what it's called. Every other Friday for a little chat and a break. Frankly, after a wonderful week of being productive, it's really nice because we have such a big company and majority of our company is remote and so I only interact with the people that I directly typically work with. And so I've seen some really neat names pop up and I see the org chart in HiBob. But this is a chance for all of us to come together no matter what department that you're in and just take a 15-30 minute break, completely supported by your manager and, you know, get a chance to meet some really cool people that might share some of the same interests as you within our company. It's a great way to make friends. Maybe just, maybe you have a tour guide who lives in Denver now that you can go mountain biking with and you would never know that unless you come hang out by the Watercooler. So it's just a digital platform. You get a 30 minute just, like, exhale if you will. And it's a really nice way to meet everybody. So that's why I love going to the Watercooler. Every Friday, or every other Friday think of it on Payday. That's usually when we hang out.
