Speaker: Robert Bradshaw
Can you introduce yourself, and tell us a bit about you professionally?
Robert Bradshaw: Hello, my name is Robert Bradshaw. Recently retired after 24 years in the air force. I was an aircrew flight equipment technician where we serviced parachutes and other survival equipment on the aircraft for our air crew members. I recently completed the ACI Learning CUSS program and also attained my Security+ certification.
Tell us a little about you, personally!
Robert Bradshaw: So, I'm originally from Gulfport Mississippi, joined the military and was stationed in Washington State, Louisiana and Florida where I retired. I've got three daughters. my youngest is 20 my oldest is 24 and we have a granddaughter. So, me and my wife are very excited about that. She's only two weeks old.
Why did you choose ACI Learning for this next step in your career journey?
Robert Bradshaw: So growing up, I've always had a desire to be better in IT. Unfortunately, in the military, that option wasn't available to me. And upon retiring, I came across ACI Learning and decided, hey, what better shot than now? Took their CUSS program. And along the way, during that course, I saw the potential of being able to take what I've learned in the military as far as leadership training others and apply that to a potential position here in ACI and here I am.
What got you into your field and how do you think your passion for what you do will transform what you will do here at ACI?
Robert Bradshaw: So one of the main things that we do in the military is primarily to train those to be the next professionals and next leaders and to eventually take our place and taken what we did there in the military with the training and being able to use it in a classroom setting, gives me that bridge to be able to still continue to train and mentor and help develop the future of the next IT professionals.
Tell us a quirky fun fact about you or your life!
Robert Bradshaw: So couple of fun facts. I mean, don't really have a lot of them. I'm a 49er fan. always been a huge fan of Jerry Rice. It's the one that got me liking the 49er and I'm a huge Star Wars fan and so far nobody has been able to beat me in any kind of debates about the Star Wars Universe, but I am open to a challenge.
Finally, is there anything else you want to say?
Robert Bradshaw: So lastly, I just want to thank those that gave me the opportunity to do this job and become a, a teacher's assistant. Really look forward to the opportunity and the challenge to help develop, not only myself but those in the classroom and can't wait to get started.
