Introduce yourself! What is your role and how long have you been with ACI Learning?
Elisha Ellsworth: Hi, I'm Alicia Ellsworth. I am the student support manager and I've been with AC I learning since June of 2021.
What is your favorite thing about your role?
Elisha Ellsworth: My favorite thing about my role is interacting with the students. I love hearing about when everyone gets certified or when they get that job in it that they're looking for.
If you could recommend one thing to a student for success, what would it be?
Elisha Ellsworth: There's one thing I could recommend to any student is manage your time wisely. You want to set aside at least 1 to 2 hours per day while you're studying for your certifications in order to make sure that you're on track and getting them on time.
If I am struggling with the content, what should I do?
Elisha Ellsworth: If you need help with the content, don't panic, reach out to a member of the support team via chat, email or phone. And we can help you navigate through the student portal or access the content there as well. If you need help from a subject matter expert, we can help you get connected with a member of our mentoring team where you can get advice about the courses or advice about the certifications that you're attempting just reach out and let us know.
What do I need to know if I am ready to take an exam?
Elisha Ellsworth: If you are ready to take your exam. That's great news. Head over to the chat to request your exam readiness meeting with a mentor. Once you're approved, you'll receive your exam voucher code within 24 to 48 hours, you must schedule your exam with the servicing providers. When you receive your code, most exam providers proctor exams online. But if you offer in-person proctoring at local testing centers in select regions, once your voucher code is released to you, contact the exam providers directly with any questions or information. When should I be scheduling my certification tests?
Elisha Ellsworth: Once you complete a class with AC I learning, you have a maximum of six months to request your exam voucher. Code vouchers are only issued one at a time and they're meant to be utilized right away. So be sure to schedule your exam as soon as possible. Please let us know your exam results. This is so we can help you understand your options if you need more than one attempt to pass a certification.
