Why is receiving the ACCP Student & Trainee Abstract Award important to you?
Autumn McKnite, BS: Hi, my name is Autumn McKnite and I'm a graduate student in Doctor Kevin Watts lab here at the University of Utah Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. I was selected as a 2023 Student Abstract awardee for my project titled A Combined X Vivo and Physiologically-based Pharmacokinetic Approach to Determine Fentanyl Dosing in Children on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. I'm privileged to receive this award as it provides an opportunity for me to share the results of this work with experts in the field and highlight the need for unique methods to study medication dosing in vulnerable populations. I'm looking forward to discussions with the amazing community that will be present at ACCP and hope to forge new connections for future collaborations.
