Why is receiving the Nathaniel T. Kwit Memorial Distinguished Service Award important to you?
Michael W. Jann, PharmD, FCP: Greetings. I am Michael Jann. I am both honored and humbled to have been selected for the 2023 Nathaniel T. Kwit Memorial Distinguished Service Award. Why is receiving this award important to me? I personally know the majority of the past awardees which are my esteemed colleagues for I have the highest respect for their many contributions to clinical pharmacology. These colleagues provided me guidance and advice, leading me to impart direction and counsel to students, postdoctoral residents and fellows, junior faculty or early-career professionals. To be recognized by the ACCP is a tremendous privilege. I thank the Honors & Awards Committee and the Board of Regents for recognition of this prestigious award. Thank you.
