Please tell us who you are and what you do.
Sanja A.: Hi, my name is Sanja. We're based in Sydney. Both my husband and I work full time for the same medical company. We've got 4 kids, 3 teenagers, and a little one in primary, and a German Shepherd dog, so very busy household. And really no time for ourselves.
Before working with Access Wealth, how would you describe your overall financial situation at the time?
Sanja A.: Before working with Access Wealth, financially we were just stuck. We had our house, we had our mortgage. But we couldn't afford to do more than that. We wanted to buy another investment property to help our children when they get older. We wanted to plan our retirement. But we couldn't afford to do any of that. We didn't know we had those sort of options. We didn't know we've got options where we can set ourselves in the future and not worry financially. At that stage, what challenges were getting in the way of you actually making financial progress?
Sanja A.: I think my biggest challenge was trusting the process, trusting the people you're working with. We had a plan. We had clear options. But the second guessing is what held me back. How do I know this is the right step for us? How do I know come halfway down the track and nothing comes out of it. And then we've taken this massive leap. Just to go backwards. And trusting the process is one of the biggest things that I could have done to get us to move ahead.
Before speaking with Access Wealth, what concerns or doubts did you have about property investing?
Sanja A.: Before we spoke with Access Wealth, one of our concerns was financially, can we afford to get an investment property? But then we had doubts. What if we choose the wrong property? What if from there on it's financially, it gets worse. We didn't have time to look into this stuff. We didn't have the knowledge that we needed to set ourselves for success, not until we reached out to Access Wealth.
Did you have any hesitations about working with Access Wealth before starting?
Sanja A.: My first meeting with Access Wealth, I hesitated. To be honest, didn't want to be there. My husband set up the meeting, just told me what time it was going to be at. I joined the meeting and I wasn't completely in it. I was just like, nah, this is just another way for them to take your money and you're not gonna get what you paid for. So the first meeting I really wasn't wholeheartedly into it. Had my doubts. I did do research after we were finished with the meeting. Joined the second one and honestly, had loads of questions.
