Please tell us who you are and what you do.
Frank Tzoukos: Hi there, my name is Frank Tzoukos and I'd like to tell you a little bit about who I am and what I'm all about. I work and live in a remote indigenous Aboriginal community based in Warburton, for those of you who don't know Warburton, it's approximately, 1600 to 1700 km northeast of Perth. I've been doing this gig now for a while, about 5 years, coming up to 5 years, and, stage of life now is basically looking for retirement.
Before working with Access Wealth, how would you describe your overall financial situation at the time?
Frank Tzoukos: Before working with Access Wealth, a little bit about my financial background, very stagnant, though healthy, but very stagnant, and was looking for a means and a way of getting to a point in life where I can fully maximise. Obviously 5 years left of work to retirement, possibly extension to, 2 years, so maybe 7 altogether. Yeah, I'm just looking to secure a better retirement lifestyle. My situation prior to jumping on board with Access was just lacked a little bit of incentive, guidance, and opportunity to find out where, you can put your money and make it work for you.
At that stage, what challenges were getting in the way of you actually making financial progress?
Frank Tzoukos: Yeah, I suppose one of the challenges was having, you know where to go, what to do, what sort of options were available to you, especially a person in my age demographic nearing retirement. Looking at a possible better lifestyle of living once I reach retirement. I didn't have any sort of clue or idea until I spoke with Access Wealth, which opened a new gateway for me regarding how to invest in property.
Before speaking with Access Wealth, what concerns or doubts did you have about property investing?
Frank Tzoukos: Yeah, so before speaking to Access Wealth, I didn't know where or how to invest in property.
Did you have any hesitations or concerns about working with Access Wealth before starting?
Frank Tzoukos: Yes, before proceeding with Access Wealth, I heard a lot of information and I wasn't sure, I had doubts whether the service would work for me.
If anything was holding you back at first, what made you decide to move forward with Access Wealth?
Frank Tzoukos: Yeah, I did have some initial jitters about the whole process, but what changed for me was basically gaining a clarity on my financial position where, I just needed to just reevaluate where I was and what I was doing, and where all the sacrifices that I've made to getting to this point. Just wanted to, just move forward and think positive in investing in property, investing in property markets and, obviously Access Wealth provided that wheel for me, that vehicle, and yeah, and here we are now.
What was your experience like working with your strategist and the team throughout the property journey?
Frank Tzoukos: Yeah, so once jumping on board, my strategist John Staggs was amazing. He explained to me step by step how the process works, where I could utilise some finances, and gave me clear direction, on how this process could work for me. And through continuous one on one meetings, and evaluating all the information in front of us, we came to the point where this seemed like the best thing to do.
Since working with Access Wealth, what progress have you seen?
Frank Tzoukos: Since working with Access Wealth, I have got a clearer understanding of my finances, I feel very confident now where I am, and can rest easy at night knowing that money's working for me. So yeah, I'm really happy that I've undertaken this process with Access and happy with the progression and where I'm at at the moment, and I'm hoping that this will continue for the next 5, 10 years, which I think it will.
How would you describe your confidence now compared to before you started working with Access Wealth?
Frank Tzoukos: Yeah, so my level of confidence now is amazing. I was very cloudy prior, before obviously with decision making and a bit sort of timid about risks that's associated with investing nowadays. We all know what the ASX is doing at the moment, investing in shares and up and down volatility. I think in making my decision to invest with Access in property has just changed the whole dynamics of my confidence now, and yeah I'm very proud of myself for getting to this point and looking to reap the rewards very much so down the track.
What would you say to someone sitting on the fence about property investing with Access Wealth?
Frank Tzoukos: So what I would like to say to someone who's sitting on the fence in in investing property. Do yourself a favour, and give it a crack. Speak to the professionals. The team down there at Access are very good with their product knowledge. They can assist you in many, many ways. You won't feel pressured in any way, shape or form, and they'll lay out all the facts on the table for you. And then it's up to you whether you want to proceed or not. But me doing this now, I'm glad, I should have been doing this when I was 40 I suppose, but that's in hindsight and it's a lovely thing, but hey, the thing is, there's an opportunity now and I'm taking it. I'm taking the bull by the horns and yeah, look, it's very intimidating at first for someone new, not knowing, but having the right people behind you makes the process a lot easier.
