Charles Crafts: Hi, my name is Charlie Kraft. I'm a Mechanical Fitter who works for government in Rockingham Beach, Western Australia. 53 years of age.
Before working with Access Wealth, how would you describe your overall financial situation at the time?
Charles Crafts: Before working with Access Wealth, I was financially pretty secure. Good, secure job, good wages, good superannuation. A lot of disposable income, no real plans for my retirement. No real plans to do anything. And that's where I started moving forward with John.
At that stage, what challenges were getting in the way of you actually making financial progress?
Charles Crafts: Uh the stage I decided to do this was I went through a separation and divorce in 2023, and with that my whole situation changed, so I had to come up with a plan for my own future, and how to manage my finances and put a good secure future in place for myself.
Before speaking with Access Wealth, what concerns or doubts did you have about property investing?
Charles Crafts: Uh, concerns and doubts, everything. I was concerned about everything. I didn't have any answers for any of the questions I would have, didn't think it was within my reach, didn't know how to do it, didn't know who to speak to, didn't know what the first thing was. I had no idea whatsoever. So that's all been made very clear. And with John and a lot of his time and just sat down and we discussed it and he put presentations in front so I could see very clearly as to what was expected from me and what I should expect from him and Access Wealth.
Did you have any hesitations or concerns about working with Access Wealth before starting?
Charles Crafts: Yes, I had concerns and hesitations. I didn't know very much about the company or the people. So I had a lot of questions there. Very hesitant to start with, but they've cleared all that up, answered all my questions, and made me feel extremely, secure and confident that they could deliver what they were saying they could deliver. So I've been very happy.
If anything was holding you back at first, what made you decide to move forward with Access Wealth?
Charles Crafts: Yeah, after the hesitations and myself being unsure, John actually set up a couple of workshops and some Zoom calls and we spoke quite a bit. He did some really good presentations. I spoke to different people within the organisation, they answered all my questions, even some where I had a little bit of negative thoughts on how this would work out, and everything was answered. Everything was very upfront, very honest. There were documentations. There were slides. There was everything to back up what they'd said. And obviously now I'm 2.5 years through this process, and they've lived up to absolutely everything, so I can't doubt them. John was there on hand to support me at any questions I had throughout the process, or I just wanted to give him a call at any time. If he couldn't answer the call there and then, he would get back to me within normally 30 minutes, answer those questions that were fresh in my mind, put them right, and put me at ease.
What was your experience like working with your strategist and the team throughout the property journey?
Charles Crafts: And once on board with John and the team, everything was very straightforward, very easy, very clear. Everything was explained again and again, so there were, there was no chance for any errors. I was extremely sure. I knew exactly what was happening, when it was happening. If funds were coming or going where they were. 100% I couldn't fault the support, the clarity on the information that I was given. It was just flawless.
Since working with Access Wealth, what progress have you seen?
Charles Crafts: Since working with Access Wealth, it's been just over 2 years, and I purchased one property. It came online very, very quickly, did everything they said it would do, and a little bit better. It's very easy, very quick. Everything planned out exactly how it was through the slides, and I'm just about to have another property come online very soon, quite excited by that one, and how the equity in them is building. The areas that I bought the properties and built in were, and even with the new tax rules that have come in, not affected as far as I can see at all. All that information has been very forthcoming, I have, regular talks with the financial side and they keep me up to date with everything. So again, very good.
How would you describe your confidence now compared to before you started working with Access Wealth?
Charles Crafts: My confidence working with the company has gone through the roof. Very, very good. The clarity that they have provided on all the subjects, that we've covered, and the investments that have been in place, it's been amazing. The team's been very good, communication's been outstanding.
What would you say to someone sitting on the fence about property investing with Access Wealth?
Charles Crafts: Hey look, if you don't do it, you'll never know. I was one of those. I doubted everything. Sometimes it seems too good to be true, and I see too many people that I work with, working so hard for a minimal superannuation. This has so much more potential. And John and his team will explain how it works, what you put into it, and I think it's the most worthwhile thing I've ever done. I, I feel extremely confident that I've got a, good future ahead of me, especially when I come to retire and to actually live a life from them.
