The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons is the largest gathering of orthopaedic surgeons in the world. AAOS is the mecca of orthopaedic surgery. It's awesome to just be surrounded by so much excellence. Where do I begin? There's just so much. I like coming, just reconnecting with everyone, seeing my colleagues. I'm most excited about going to the lectures. I don't have to pay for ICLs anymore, which is amazing! You can find your niche. You can see friends. You can see what's going on with industry. Every manufacturer brings their A game. It's exciting to see the technology that's always pushing the envelope. We've heard from our membership that they want to make the Annual Meeting efficient and value driven, and so we're responding to that. Challenge by making the meeting more condensed with the better course schedule of Wednesday through Saturday with Saturday being specialty day. If you have one meeting per year that you can attend, this will be the one. My favorite part of the meeting is this right here, is that I don't walk 5 feet without running into an old colleague or friend. See you in Vegas!
